When You Arrive

Upon arrival in Szeged, please proceed to the registration desk at Hunguest Hotel during the designated hours. There you will receive your badge and conference materials, including the printed programme.

We recommend registering early to ensure a smooth start to your conference experience.

Registration Desk

The registration desk will be open at the following times:

  • June 29: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • June 30 – July 4: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Location: Hunguest Hotel (ex Forrás), Szeged.

If you arrive on Sunday, we warmly encourage you to complete your registration in the evening of June 29. This will allow you to avoid the morning queue on Monday and begin the conference day with ease.

Registration Fee

Registration fees can be paid in advance via PayPal. If you are unable to use PayPal, please contact us at lasphys25@gmail.com — we will be happy to assist.

You may also pay your registration fee on-site. Cash payments will be accepted at the Registration Desk. We are working to enable card payments as well, though this option is not yet guaranteed — please follow the website for updates.

ATMs are widely available in Szeged, and international cards are generally supported. More information is available on the Practicalities page.

Registration and Security Information

Please remember to bring your Registration Card to the registration desk. The card contains a barcode and serves as official confirmation of your registration.

Your Registration Card has already been automatically generated and sent to your email address after registration. If you are unable to locate it, please check your spam folder or request it again through our system. You may also save it as a PDF for printing.

We recommend printing the card and bringing a paper copy with you. Alternatively, you may present it on your smartphone during on-site registration.

Meals and Dining

Please note that lunch is not provided by the organisers. Participants are encouraged to explore dining options in the city during the lunch break.

Coffee breaks will be available throughout the conference at the venue where your seminar is held.

Conference Schedule and Transfers

The morning plenary session will always take place at Hunguest Hotel. Afternoon seminar sessions will be held across all three venues: Hunguest Hotel, Novotel Hotel, and Art Hotel.

After the plenary, free transfers will depart at 13:00 and 14:00 to take participants to Novotel and Art Hotel for the afternoon sessions.
Note: on Friday, there will be no seminar sessions at Art Hotel, and the bus will only serve Novotel.

You may refer to the conference schedule and the seminar venue allocation to confirm session times and locations.

Tuesday Afternoon Return Shuttle & Poster Session

On Tuesday, July 1, two return shuttle buses will bring participants from the seminar venues back to Hunguest Hotel for the poster session.

  • 16:50: One bus departs from Novotel Hotel
  • 16:50: One bus departs from Art Hotel

Both buses will return directly to Hunguest Hotel.

The Poster Session will take place on July 1 (Day 2) at 17:00 in the Ground Floor Hall of Hunguest Hotel, in cocktail format.

Social Events

  • Welcome Party: June 30 (Day 1) at 19:00 — Hunguest Hotel (cocktail format)
  • Conference Dinner: July 2 (Day 3) at 20:00 — Hunguest Hotel (gala dinner)

ELI-ALPS Visit

Participants registered for the ELI-ALPS laboratory visit should assemble in the lobby of Hunguest Hotel at 08:00. Buses will depart promptly at 08:20 to the ELI-ALPS facility.

You may also choose to reach the facility on your own (this applies to the transfer only; please note that the visit itself is available exclusively to participants who registered for it before May 27). In that case, please make sure to notify the organisers in advance:
