Abstract
Atoms are the most natural quantum sensors. We take advantage of the recent advances in highly sensitive tools of atomic magnetometry and electrometry to obtain information about spatial charged particle distributions in electron beams and low temperature plasmas. We will also discuss the possibility of quantum enhancement using atom-based squeezed light.
