Accommodation & Places to Stay in Lyon

Please note: There are many other friendly hotels in Lyon near the University. You can book your hotel room through several international hotel reservation websites. An Airbnb reservation can also be considered. Use the venue address (10 Place des Archives, 69002 Lyon) to find a hotel close to the conference location. Good luck!

An Important Warning: If you plan to arrive in Lyon before July 12th, you should take into account that the celebrated Tour de France 2020 will be passing through the city of Lyon on July 11th. Thus the crowds of contenders, accompanying team members, relatives, and enthusiastic fans, may overfill many hotels in Lyon. In this case, we would suggest making your reservations as soon as possible.

Yet Another Warning: It has come to our attention that some unauthorized hotel placement agencies have been contacting some LPHYS’20 participants, identifying themselves as being affiliated with LPHYS'20 and making various kinds of offers for hotel accommodation in Lyon during the time of the conference. Certain "deals," such as "unpublished rates," "special discounts," etc. can be offered. We affirm that these organizations and their activity are not affiliated with the LPHYS'20 Organizing Committee. In fact, we have had reports that many of these agencies are scamming customers by adding on undisclosed service charges, excluding VAT and other applicable fees, and applying other questionable business practices. Please note that LPHYS'20 did not provide any of those agencies with contact information.
