Miguel V. Andrés was born on December 16, 1957. He graduated from University of Valencia in 1979 and now is the Professor, Head of the Laboratory of Fiber-Optics, Department of Applied Physics and Electromagnetism of the University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain.
