Vladimir A. Makarov was born on . He graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University and now is the Professor, of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia.
His current research interests are in the field of laser physics, nonlinear optics and spectroscopy, interaction of laser radiation with matter.
