Vitaly I. Konov was born in Moscow, USSRon . He graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1964 and now is the Professor of the Natural Scienses Center, A.M. Prokhorov General Physics Institute, Moscow, Russia. Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences since 2000.
