29th annual International Laser Physics Workshop



French President Emmanuel Macron had announced that all public events drawing large gatherings would not be allowed until July 15, 2020, due to the Covid-19 crisis. In strict compliance with that decree and following the suggestion of the Local Organizing Committee in France, the LPHYS'20 Advisory&Program committee arrived at a decision that LPHYS'20, originally scheduled to start on July 13, 2020, in Lyon, to be postponed by one year.

The twenty-ninth annual International Laser Physics Workshop, now labelled as LPHYS'21 will still be held in the city of Lyon, France, at the Lyon Catholic University, hosted by the Institut Lumière Matière from to .

The participants who had registered for LPHYS'20 are advised to re-register for LPHYS'21 on the new webpage, when active. We will provide a separate announcement on our website. Those participants who had already paid the LPHYS'20 conference fees will be contacted individually by the Management Team. They will be able to exercise the option of either transferring their fee to LPHYS'21 or requesting a full refund.
