Dear participants,

As you know probably, foreign nationals with a residence permit for the EU/EFTA countries, Andorra, Canada, Monaco, San Marino, and USA, holding a regular passport or a UNMIK passport do not need a visa to enter Switzerland for the purpose of tourism, business trip or visit for a maximum stay of 3 months. As for citizens of other countries, you can learn whether you need a Swiss visa or not from the web site Overview of ID and Visa provisions for entry into Switzerland.

If you need the visa you must fill in and send us the Visa support form. This is needed for preparing and mailing to you visa-valid invitation letters. Such letters have to be added to the sets of documents in your visa applications to Swiss consulates. The list of Swiss consulates can be found here.

Please note that your visa support form should be filled in and sent not later than April 10, 2006. Moreover, the participants of LPHYS'06 will receive their visa-valid invitation letters not earlier than April 10, 2006.
