JTB Kyoto Office has been appointed as the official travel agent for the Workshop and will handle all related travel arrangements, including hotel accommodations and tours.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
JTB has blocked hotels in Keihanna and Nara during the Workshop period. Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Please indicate your order of preference in the application form.

APPLICATION AND PAYMENT
Participants wishing to reserve hotel accommodations and tours should complete the Application Form and return it to reach JTB no later than June 30, 2005.
Application should be accompanied by a remittance covering the hotel deposit of ¥5,000, Handling Charge ¥500 and/or total tour fare due JTB.
No reservation will be confirmed in the absence of this payment. Personal checks NOT accepted. All payment must be in Japanese yen. The hotel deposit will be credited to your bill when checking out.
Payment should be in the form of:
- A bank transfer to the JTB Corp. UFJ Bank Nakanoshima Branch
- The following credit cards are acceptable:
1. MasterCard 2. Diners Club 3. Visa Card 4. AMEX

CANCELLATION
In the event of cancellation, written notification should be sent to JTB. The following cancellation fees will be deducted before refunding.

Hotels:	Up to 9 days before the first night of stay	¥2,000
	2 to 8 days before	20% of daily room charge (minimum ¥2,000)
	Less than 2 days before, or not notice given	100% of daily room charge
Tours:	Up to 21 prior to departure day	None
	20 - 1 days	¥1,000
	Prior to starting time, or failure to show without notice	100% of tour fare

OP-1	Kyoto Morning
Daily 08:55 – 12:40 Fee: ¥5,300
	*	Nijo Castle, once used as the Tokugawa Shogun’s family palace
	*	Golden Pavilion, a gilded structure, originally a nobleman’s villa
	*	Kyoto Imperial Palace, a former residence of the Imperial family (on Sat., Sun. & national holidays: see Higashi Honganji Temple instead)
	*	Kyoto Handicraft Center to see demonstrations by skilled craftsmen
	Tour disbands on arrival at the Handicraft Center. Sending services to major hotels in Kyoto are offered by Handicraft Center.

OP-2	Kyoto Afternoon

	*	Heian Shrine, Graceful old court life is reflected in the brightly colored shrine with its vermilion pillars and green roof, and in its enchanting inner gardens and ponds
	*	Sanjusangendo Hall, A renowned long wooden hall housing all of 1,001 statues of Kannon that date back to the 13th century
	*	Kiyomizu Temple, A quaint old lane lined with pottery shops leads to the temple. Enjoy a sweeping view of the entire city from its lofty terrace
