Gennady A. Mesyats was born on . He graduated with honors from Tomsk Polytechnic University in 1958 and now is the Director of the P.N. Lebedev Physical Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia. Full Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences since 1984.
